Kelvin Chang, CFA

Kelvin has been a Becker instructor since 2010 and taught FAR, AUD and BEC in both Chinese and English. He also contributes to the development of CMA materials. In addition to teaching, Kelvin is a seasoned Technology Solution Consulting Service consultant. He brings 11 years of experiences providing operational finance, process improvement, system integration, project management as well as cloud infrastructure services to all sizes of clients across a variety of industries. Prior to joining the current firm, Kelvin was a senior vice president at a global bank in Irving, Texas. In his role, he led the effort to optimize the bank’s cloud cost by balancing the workload across the bank’s private cloud, and public cloud partners. He managed an annual budget of ~$100mm for the infrastructure and platform managed group including forecasting, managing productivity initiatives and variance analyses for senior leadership. In addition, he also ran a risk governance function for the bank’s engineering and architecture group to identify and mitigate risks associated with technical debt, new technology solutions and process inefficiencies. Kelvin is an alumnus of EY where he provided valuation services and audit services to both public and private companies across a variety of industries.
