Fiduciary Funds

Fiduciary funds account for assets received when the government acts in the capacity of a trust or custodial fund. All fiduciary funds, except for certain pension liabilities and post-employment health care plans, utilize the full accrual basis of accounting and the economic resources measurement focus. See also pension trust fund and custodial trust fund and private purpose trust fund and investment trust fund.
