Net Investment Hedge

A net investment hedge is a hedge of a net investment in a foreign operation. Gains and losses on changes in fair value of foreign currency transactions entered into to hedge a net investment in a foreign operation are reported in other comprehensive income as part of the cumulative foreign currency translation adjustment.
